psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a profound exploration into the depths of your psyche—a safe, collaborative space where you can uncover and understand the layers of your inner world. It typically involves identifying recurring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, many of which may operate beneath the surface and shape how you experience life.

It’s a long-term process that unfolds uniquely for each individual. While we will set goals together, therapy is more open-ended than goal-oriented—it’s about the journey, not just the destination. There’s no set timeline for how long it will take, as the work evolves organically over time.

Since I utilize a holistic approach, this journey also involves recognizing the deep connection between your mind and body. Emotional pain, unresolved trauma, and stress often manifest physically, and by tuning into your body’s signals, we uncover insights that promote healing and integration.

Through this process, you’ll discover unexpected solutions, gain clarity about your experiences, and uncover hidden parts of yourself. Over time, I hope our work together will reconnect you with your authentic self, fostering a sense of wholeness, healing, and a deeper alignment with who you truly are.

Each session is 60 minutes and typically takes place once a week. The exact frequency can be mutually decided after the initial consultation.

somatic experiencing®

Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) is a body-focused therapeutic approach to healing trauma and regulating the nervous system. Trauma can leave the nervous system in a state of being "stuck", keeping us in a constant state of stress or feeling shut down. SE helps clients identify and process bodily sensations linked to traumatic memories. By gently moving between feeling safe and addressing the discomfort, it helps the body release built-up stress and tension. This allows the nervous system to calm down and return to balance, making you feel more relaxed, in control, and connected to yourself.

Currently integrated with psychotherapy sessions, not offered as a separate service.

group therapy

Group therapy involves a small group of individuals, working together to address common issues, share experiences, and offer mutual support. It can be helpful for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. The group dynamic allows for shared learning, emotional support, and a sense of connection, helping individuals feel less isolated in their struggles.

The underlying belief in group therapy is that healing happens through connection, shared vulnerability, and the power of peer support. Groups help individuals gain new perspectives, practice interpersonal skills, and receive feedback from others, which can accelerate healing.

        yoga

Yoga complements psychotherapy and can strengthen the mind-body connection. It can help calm the nervous system, regulates emotions, and fosters resilience through breath-work, mindfulness, and movement.

Trauma-informed yoga emphasizes safety, choice, and empowerment, creating a supportive environment for healing. Sessions focus on gentle poses, grounding techniques, and non-triggering language to avoid reactivating trauma. By encouraging body awareness and self-regulation, it helps release stored tension and improves coping skills.

This holistic approach bridges verbal therapy and somatic healing, offering you a safe, empowering path to recovery and emotional well-being.
